Core Values

"SL’s reception to my input on their products and their willingness to share their expertise with me are signs that SL is a company that “gets it.”... Listening to customer input and acting on suggestions adds value for all of SL's customers and sets SL apart from the enterprise ISV pack."
-Bill Schuller

Character

Character is the most important attribute of every employee at SL. The principles and motives that drive our business relationships are based on a focus on meeting your needs first. We treat our customers, partners and colleagues the way you would like to be treated if you were in their position.

Relationship

A relationship is more than customer and vendor; it’s a long-term, mutual commitment, backed with honesty. Let’s face it, many software firms develop similar applications, but when it comes down to it, whom do you trust to be with you from the day you purchase a solution throughout the long term? At SL, we build relationships first. This includes a commitment to staying on top of new technologies in order to support you now and well into the future. If we can help you solve a business issue using our software and services, we will offer it. If not, we will be the first to say so and will even recommend someone else who can.

Quality

Quality at SL is standard issue. We separate Quality Assurance from Development to ensure the highest quality version control and product enhancement cycles. If our QA engineers do not provide their stamp of approval, we cycle back to our developers and do it again until we get it right.

Thought Leadership

Having been a successful provider of business information delivery platform solutions since 1983, we pride ourselves on staying on top of trends in technology. This has given us a discerning eye to distinguish between temporary fads and true change. Many SL professionals have been with the company for 15 to 20 years.
