Tokyo, Japan – June 10, 2015 – SL Japan Corporation, a subsidiary of SL Corporation, a leading provider of real-time data visualization and performance monitoring, announced today that Hitachi Solutions, Ltd. (HITACHI), a global system integrator with advanced IT solutions, and KUBOTA Systems Inc. (“KSI”) have jointly developed a unified management system for global manufacturing production status using SL’s RTView Core product. The system has been developed for Tsukuba Factory of Kubota Corporation (KUBOTA), a global manufacturer committed to supporting the future of the earth and humanity by contributing products such as agricultural machinery, diesel engines and iron piping.

RTView Core is a graphic visualization and monitoring tool for real-time data. By connecting to any existing data, a performance monitoring system with advanced features such as alerts and historian can be custom built to match exactly with a customer’s operation and service.

The Manufacturing Data Unified Centralization System, developed by HITACHI and KSI using RTView Core, allows users to drill down from the Global Map of KUBOTA’s world-wide factories, to view all the production lines at a specific factory. Performance metrics for facility, quality and environment can then be monitored in a single-pane-of-glass.

Entire production lines of a specific factory are graphically displayed by the Line Map. By clicking on an alerted line, its detail production plan and actual production at that time can be confirmed. By connecting RTView Core to the already existing manufacturing information database containing related production information, the unified management system was able to be custom built in only a couple of man-months, deploying its highly interactive and real-time visualization and monitoring dashboard in a Web thin-client.

RTView Core is a tool used to build custom visualization and monitoring systems in accordance with a service or an operation. By connecting to any existing real-time data source using various data adapters, companies can deploy a wide range of “Performance Monitoring” dashboards – from IT infrastructure, to operation monitoring, service and business activity monitoring. Using the point & click RTView® Builder, all the necessary performance and availability data can be directly integrated via menu selection. These content-rich, thin-client monitoring dashboards can be easily customized using in-memory data aggregation and analysis, alert thresholds pre-defined actions, and persistent data (historian). Custom configuration files defined within the Builder can then be deployed transparently, without making any changes, in a desktop or a Web browser.
