Latest JNet Release Improves Functionality for Developers of Telecommunication Application User Interfaces

Corte Madera, CA –December 17, 2003— SL Corporation, a leading provider of software solutions for the monitoring and display of real-time information, today announced the latest release of SL-GMS J/Net v3.5d, a software development tool that enables telecommunications solution providers to decrease time to market through the rapid development of embedded high performance, browser-based graphic interfaces.

J/Net is a Java based rapid development environment for creating telecommunication application user interfaces which are lightweight, high performance and extremely flexible in look and feel. SL is active in user interface standards boards, which drives the design of J/Net. J/Net provides functionality to address needs for the display of geographic and logical based topology displays and hardware displays that conform to the TeleManagement Forum standard TMF046 Graphical Information Requirements for Telecommunication Management Objects as well as related ITU standards. J/Net can also
be used to conform to the upcoming offering from the TeleManagement Forum TR129 HMI Interface Templates.

J/Net has been designed from the ground up to provide high performance thin client browser based applications, but can also provide thick client Java applications. In fact, the architecture of J/Net allows developers to build once and optionally deploy in either environment.

New functionality available with the version 3.5 series release:

• New table based objects facilitate the creation of tabular display interfaces Java 2D
  support allows for the creation of best in class user interface objects that take
  advantage of the advanced rendering capabilities such as anti-aliasing
• Enhancements to XML driven data sources
• Enhancements to the logical network automatic layout algorithms for easy display
  of a variety of logical topologies.
