Tokyo, Japan – April 22, 2012
SL Japan Corporation (SL, hereafter), subsidiary of SL Corporation, a leading provider of real-time monitoring and visualization software, announced today that Fujitsu Mission Critical Systems (FMCS, hereafter) has selected SL’s RTView to develop its “Big Data” Platform Solution.FMCS is a leading system integrator in the public and infrastructure industry for developing and operating mission critical systems.RTView, connected to a CEP (Complex Event Processing) engine and to the platform’s system management, will enable users to monitor and visualize the Big Data for FMCS solutions being developed.

FMCS contributes to society by developing and operating safe and reliable mission critical systems such as financial settlement and public systems for life-line and living infrastructure. In the emerging Big Data arena for SmartGrid, Logging and Market Analysis, FMCS has been developing a platform optimized for leveraging Big Data using CEP technology for vertical solutions including energy, media, financial, government and the public sector.SL’s RTView is used for monitoring and visualizing its Big Data in real time and for more efficient operation management.

SL’s technology has been used for more than 20 years for monitoring and visualization of 24 x 7 most mission-critical control systems around the world, with a core expertise in utilities and transportation. With this technology as the background, SL’s RTView connects directly to various SOA middleware systems – messaging buses and application servers, for example – simply by selecting a data source, aggregates data in-memory and display in real time the information in custom views. Not only can its dashboard displays and objects be customized, but also the manner in which data is aggregated and analyzed, alerts, actions and advance historian, can all be customized using RTView Builder.

Especially for CEP engines such as Oracle CEP and TIBCO BusinessEvents that handle very large volumes of streamed in-memory data, RTView has proven to be the best match dashboard for monitoring and visualization.Using RTView’s JMS Data Adapter or Custom Data Adapter, CEP event stream data can be aggregated and viewed. And with RTView’s JMX Data Adapter, latency and throughput can also be monitored.Together, RTView enables its customers to build the strongest solutions that can visualize and monitor both the CEP engine contents and the infrastructure that the Bid Data relies upon.
